This is not new.
You were just ineligible to switch yet because your consumption was too small.
Malls, factories, and high-rise buildings have switched to cheaper suppliers since 2013. The catch is that you have to reach a threshold of 100kW peak demand (don't worry—no need to understand this!) to be eligible.
That is the part we changed. Even if you do not reach the threshold yet, everyone is eligible as long as we pool enough demand in your community to qualify to switch.
